For my project I wish to create images using the landscape. I will photograph images from the landscape whether its the natural landscape of the urban landscape and with this I will pick the images which show colour the best, which leads to my project title, Colour in the Landscape. To start the project I want to show the natural colour in the landscape, for this I will take original images of the landscape and produce them the way they are. I don't want to change it so it looks unnatural but I will help by increasing the brightness and contrast so that the natural colours are more visible. For this project I searched through the internet and through books to find the perfect photographers that I could use as inspiration and interpret their work in my own way. I found that the photographer's work I liked the best to use was Carlo Van De Roer, East Eric, Filippo Minelli, Richard Mosse and Gerhard Richter. I will interpret these photographers by recreating what they do but I will develop their work in a creative way that I think suits best for this type of photography. To continue with my work, once I have finished these five photographers I will incorporate my own ideas into the project, I want to find a different way of using filters to change the colour of the landscape, I don't just want it to be adding the colour filter to my camera or adding the colour using photoshop, I want to find an alternative way of adding the filter. I also want to change the views on the landscape by removing the colour by also adding it. I want it so that the colour is visible more than the original, for this I want to make a image black and white and then layer the same image but then remove parts of the black and white version so that the colour is visible through the black and white version. For the final piece I want to create an original and unique piece of work, I still want it to resemble the colour in the landscape however I want to change people's views on how they would see it.
